Welcome to the LLL of Springfield MO blog.
We meet three times a month for informal mother-to-mother (or mother-to-be!) breastfeeding support. One or more La Leche League International accredited Leaders are present at each meeting. Our 2011 meeting schedule is: (please note temporary location changes for FALL 2011 meetings!)
- 2nd Monday of each month – evening meeting: 6:30-8:30 p.m at The Library Center on Campbell south of James River Expressway in Meeting Room A.
- Sept 12th, 2011-location changed to Cox South Mtg Rm. 2; 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
- October 10th, 2011-location changed to Cox South Mtg Rm. 1; 6:30-8:30 p.m.
- November 14th, 2011-location changed to Panera’s meeting room @ Elm & National; 6:30-8:30 p.m.
- 4th Wednesday of each month – NEW beginning in January 2011! – morning meeting: 10 a.m.-noon at The Library Station on Kansas Expressway south of I-44 in the entryway meeting room.
- 1st Tuesday of each month-NEW BREASTFEEDING CAFE!-Drop in to chat with LLLLeaders & other mothers about breastfeeding. Panera’s meeting room on National & Elm. 9:30-11 a.m.

A gentle reminder: PLEASE KEEP YOUR GERMS AT HOME. Now, as always, feel free to contact a leader via phone or email to answer any breastfeeding related questions or concerns instead of coming to LLL meetings sick.

Babies and children are always welcome and each mother watches her own. So that we all can get the most out of our discussion, please attend to your older children. Bringing along quiet activities can be helpful. We ask that children not be allowed to run, yell or otherwise disrupt the meeting.
Mothers are welcome to contact a Leader for breastfeeding information or assistance between meetings as well.
